Honky Tonk Queen is an homage to my love of the small Texas honky tonks I’ve visited over the decades. Less than 50 people, cold Lone Star beer in a bottle and an up and coming band you’ve never heard of…treasured Texas dance halls that are few and far between.

ICONIC CLOSET is my love letter to the nostalgia and pop culture moments of my late 70’s and 80’s Austin upbringing. Only 6 in this release, more to come this fall. If there is one that speaks to you, I encourage you to go for it!
Disco, Urban Cowboy, Jaws, puka shells, Punk Rock neons…there is a story in what we wore and the movies we were watching, our closets spoke volumes.
The works in this 6 piece capsule are inspired by facets of a character, setting or song in that timeline…their imperfections and flaws make them beautifully authentic and relatable.
Each original was created on loose cotton canvas and mounted on ½ inch solid birchwood panels. I always finish my originals with Liquitex professional-grade soluvar matte varnish for archival protection and UV-resistant surface.
