✨ What's New in the StudioI've been diving deep into my love of quilting and vintage fabrics, and it's crossing over into my art in the most beautiful way. "Wildflowers" is almost finished and captures my love of re-using canvas to create something beautiful and one of my first loves is currently taking shape…she is woven from reimagined textiles, and a whole lot of attitude. I was also blessed with my first commission and honored beyond words to create something special for dear friends. My "Wildly Vibrant Texas™” collection is a tribute to my outdoor childhood adventures in Austin in the late 70’s and early 80’s when the land was untamed and many days were spent digging in the Texas dirt looking for arrowheads and rocks…something I still love to do. Adega Vinho Winery in Stonewall, Texas has graciously provided a space for my three rattler originals that are part of this collection. If you have the opportunity to visit, this special place is breathtaking and so welcoming. The interest and response to my archival prints has been incredible…I’m so thankful to the people that have opened their doors for them to be shared. Thank you Kaffee Haus, LUX Salon & Beauty, and Busy Bee in Fredericksburg for providing my framed prints a place to live and spark curiosity. Jazz Chapel in Weatherford, Texas is a lovingly restored historic building that opened its doors this year. It’s an honor to see my work become part of their space in the company of some amazing artists. Thank you Sicara Design in Dripping Springs for finding the perfect home for “Air Guitar” in your client’s space…this truly makes my heart happy! South Beach is currently on display in this beautiful shop.
